Job Summary:

The Placement Manager is responsible for providing students with relevant job opportunities in the IT domain and overseeing the student life cycle to ensure standard outcomes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify key employers for urban placement opportunities for students.
  • Coordinate student placements according to company requirements and associated pre-placement profiling.
  • Establish relationships with company directors and HR heads for manpower requirements and placement tie-ups.
  • Collaborate with branches regarding placement procedures and placed students.
  • Generate revenue for the organization by placing students.
  • Maintain records related to pre-placement and post-placement activities.
  • Maintain a student database.
  • Inform students about job opening details after receiving client requirements.
  • Conduct market research on job trends.
  • Regularly communicate with respective managers and trainers.
  • Pursue additional responsibilities as needed based on organizational requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in student placement from skilling/training/educational institutes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; demonstrate patience and perseverance.
  • Good knowledge and connections with corporates.
  • A strong inclination towards society and working for marginalized communities.
  • Experience with student placement for courses/batches.
  • Expertise in corporate tie-ups for student placements.
