- Stay current on art, design, and cultural trends and reflect that awareness in work.
- Ensure illustrations meet quality and color standards.
- Strong grasp of color theory, composition, form, and character design.
- Proficiency in digital illustration tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or similar software.
- Versatility in working across different illustration styles (quirky, modern-ethnic, minimal, maximal, pop-culture-inspired, etc.).
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to visually interpret emotions, themes, and narratives - while bringing your own distinctive artistic voice to guided creative direction.
- Familiarity with art, culture, flora-fauna, and mythology etc is a plus.
- Prior work in lifestyle, gifting, fashion, D2C brands, or packaging design is an advantage.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines across multiple projects.
