Director of Technology-AI Job Summary

We are seeking a visionary leader to spearhead our Artificial Intelligence initiatives across cybersecurity, insurance automation, risk quantification, and threat intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing.

The successful Director of Technology-AI will be responsible for architecting and scaling AI-driven products that detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats while enabling smarter risk underwriting and automated response frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and execute the long-term AI roadmap across cyber security products, risk assessment, and insurance intelligence.
• Build proprietary AI models and pipelines for anomaly detection, underwriting automation, fraud prediction, and incident response.
• Evaluate and integrate Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, and real-time data-driven architectures in core offerings.

Technical Leadership:

• Own the architecture, design, and deployment of AI models across cloud and edge environments.
• Collaborate closely with security, underwriting, compliance, and product teams to translate domain knowledge into scalable ML/AI tools.
• Ensure secure, privacy-compliant AI development and deployment practices.

Product Development:

• Oversee the development of AI-driven products such as auto-triage systems for cybersecurity incidents, AI-enhanced security operation centers (SOC), intelligent cyber-insurance pricing engines, and AI advisors for SMB cyber resilience.

Team Building & Partnerships:

• Build and mentor a high-performance AI engineering and data science team.
• Collaborate with academia, research bodies, and vendors to stay ahead of the AI curve.
• Guide OEM partnerships for AI-driven security technologies.

Security Strategy & Thought Leadership:

• Align delivery goals with our broader cybersecurity vision and roadmap.
• Stay updated on global threat trends, compliance shifts, and emerging technologies.
• Represent us at industry events, AI forums, and client executive briefings.

Requirements:

• 12+ years in software engineering or AI/ML product development, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and NLP (LLMs, embeddings,anomaly detection).
• Strong hands-on experience with Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, vector databases, MLOps, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Experience deploying AI systems in production at scale, ideally in cybersecurity or fintech domains.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in cybersecurity & threat intelligence.
• Experience with Generative AI and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Understanding of regulatory and compliance implications (ISO 27001, GDPR, IRDAI guidelines).
