Drive Quality Assurance Efforts

Job Description

As a Senior QA Analyst, you will be responsible for driving quality assurance efforts on large-scale retail transformation projects. Your key responsibilities will include test initiation support, test planning and execution, as well as defect management and reporting.

Your role will involve collaborating with the QA manager to initiate testing, analyzing requirements, and estimating test effort. You will also review and understand project-specific business requirements, document questions, and obtain answers using clarification trackers.

In addition, you will participate in daily stand-ups, execute tests, mentor junior resources, and capture test results. You will identify defects, work with the build team to resolve them, and retest and close defects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test Initiation Support: Collaborate with QA Manager to initiate testing, analyze requirements, and estimate test effort.
  • Test Planning: Review and understand project-specific business requirements, document questions, and obtain answers using clarification trackers.
  • Test Execution: Participate in daily stand-ups, execute tests, mentor junior resources, and capture test results.
  • Defect Management: Identify defects, work with the build team to resolve them, and retest and close defects.
Requirements:
  • 4-10 years of experience as a Test Analyst or Engineer.
  • Working knowledge in BFSI domain - Core banking, Cards, Payments, and Lending.
  • Strong experience in testing core banking systems, including layer testing (Presentation, Web GUI, Mobile application, Logical layer, APIs, and Data layer).
Desirable Skills:
  • Understanding of automation frameworks, performance testing, and ETL database testing.
  • Experience with core banking applications like Temenos T24.
