Software Validation Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Software Validation Engineer to join our team. As a key member, you will play a critical role in defining test plans, designing test cases, and developing test scripts to validate firmware for enterprise and datacenter class NVMe SSD products.

About the Role

You will collaborate closely with firmware development teams throughout the product lifecycle, identifying defects and validating fixes through the creation of grey and white box tests.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Developing comprehensive test plans, designing test cases, and writing test scripts to ensure firmware quality
  • Working alongside firmware development teams to identify and resolve issues
  • Crafting grey and white box tests to guarantee product reliability
Requirements

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Over 10 years of experience in SSD Firmware Validation
  • A solid understanding of whitebox and grey box test methodologies for Enterprise and Datacenter SSD Firmware
  • Strong hands-on experience with debugging NVMe Protocol issues using Lecroy JDSU analyzers
  • Excellent knowledge of Linux operating systems, Python coding, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
