Job Title: Automation Quality Assurance Specialist

About This Role:

This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts, collaborating with developers to define test strategies and requirements, creating and managing test data for automation purposes, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and ensuring resolution in collaboration with development teams.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
  • Collaborate with developers and test engineers to define test strategies and requirements.
  • Create and manage test data for automation purposes.
  • Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure resolution in collaboration with development teams.
  • Enhance existing automation frameworks and recommend improvements.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or CloudBees).
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software test automation.
  • Proficiency with Linux systems and command-line utilities and shell scripts (bash)
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python, Ruby, Java).
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Subversion, Git).
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Engineering (BE/B.Tech preferred), or a related field. Master degree is a plus.
  • Experience with Docker and Puppet
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
