Job Opportunity: Data Engineer

We are looking for a skilled professional to join our team as a Data Engineer.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the Google Cloud stack and be able to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines.

  • Data Engineering Responsibilities:
  • Data Extraction & Analysis
    • Query and manipulate data using Google BigQuery / Google SQL.
    • Develop scripts in Python, Go, or Perl to extract, transform, and update datasets.
    • Experience with MapReduce frameworks is an advantage.
  • Data Visualization
    • Build reports and dashboards using Google Analytics and Google Looker Studio.
    • Create effective visualizations to present findings and communicate insights clearly.
  • Problem Solving & Pipeline Development
    • Identify data engineering requirements and design scalable data pipelines.
    • Use data to propose solutions and actionable recommendations.
  • Performance Optimization
    • Analyze SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance query performance.
    • Apply techniques such as Indexing, Partitioning, Parallel Processing, Caching, Efficient Storage Formats (Parquet/ORC), and In-memory Computing.
  • Scheduling & Automation
    • Schedule and manage workflows using tools like Airflow, Dreampipe, or similar job schedulers.
  • Release Engineering
    • Support on-demand and scheduled release management processes for data pipelines.
