We are looking for a highly skilled Public Relations/Media Liaison to join our award-winning PR agency at Whizz HR. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective media relations strategies that drive results.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing high-level placements in print, broadcast, and online media. You will be comfortable working with fashion, beauty, and apparel clients and have strong relationships with local and national business and industry media outlets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing media relations strategies, including identifying and securing high-level placements
- Cultivating new contacts within business and industry media
- Directing social media teams to engage audiences across traditional and new media
- Managing media inquiries and interview requests
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A BA/MA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related discipline
- Proven 1-8 years working experience in public relations
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Solid experience with social media, including blogs, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
