Role: Technical Lead - Data Engineering

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead multiple data engineering projects on GCP Cloud for data lakes, data migration, and business intelligence.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in technical roles, with 5+ years of experience in building and managing distributed data systems, data warehouses, and business intelligence solutions on cloud platforms like GCP/AWS/Azure.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and developing high-volume, multi-threaded batch and real-time data processing systems.
  • Implementing processes to ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability for key stakeholders and business processes.
  • Mentoring junior talent within the team and contributing to building assets and accelerators.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of one or more cloud databases like Big Table, RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, DB2, SQL Server, etc.
  • Experience with traditional ETL tools like Informatica/DataStage/OWB/Talend, etc.
  • Good understanding of BI reporting and dashboarding tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, SAP BO, Cognos, Superset, etc.
  • Understanding of security features and policies in one or more cloud environments like GCP/AWS/Azure.
