Automation Test Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our team.

  • About the Role: The Automation Test Engineer will design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Java with Rest Assured for API testing and Selenium for web application testing.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • - Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Java with Rest Assured for API testing and Selenium for web application testing.
    • - Develop and implement testing strategies that encompass functional, regression, and performance testing.
    • - Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to define testing requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
    • - Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and document defects in a test management system.
    • - Participate in code reviews, offering insights and recommendations for improving test automation frameworks.
    • - Identify areas for improvement in current automation practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Essential Skills:
    • - 5+ years of experience in automation testing with a strong focus on Java, Rest Assured, and Selenium.
    • - Proven experience in developing automated test cases for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured.
    • - Solid understanding of web application testing methodologies and best practices.
    • - Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
    • - Experience with version control systems like Git.
    • - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
