Job Title: Analyst Costing

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst Costing to join our team at Hasbro India. As a key member of our Costing team, you will play a critical role in reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing product costs with suppliers in a timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct vendor cost management activities at vendor end to identify cost reduction opportunities by enhancing product value.
  • Support the Hong Kong Far East (HFE) team in analyzing and completing cost in P2M for adaptation items.
  • Develop and maintain cost models, gather cost parameters information, and standardize processes.
  • Negotiate costs with toys manufacturing companies and material suppliers.
  • Update ex-factory costs for variations and adaptations in Hasbro costing systems (P2M/SAP) to avoid revenue recognition risks and SOX non-compliances.
  • Update ACR, running change costs in P2M/PQS for adaptation items of leads for China and Vietnam vendors.
  • Update costing for Carry Forward items after Annual Cost Review negotiations to capture full potential of ACR savings.
  • Partner with Engineering and Sourcing on cost estimation and evaluation of new and carry forward items.
  • Create and maintain a database of key market factors to support ex-factory cost analysis and negotiation.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Minimum 6 years' experience in product costing, product engineering, industrial engineering, or procurement in manufacturing industry.
  • University graduate in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Proficient in various PC applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, P2M, SAP) and familiar with CAD and Pro E.
  • Knowledge and experience in continuous improvement approaches (e.g. Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing) and manufacturing processes is a definite advantage.
  • Knowledge of Excel VBA and Power BI is a plus.
  • Boundless energy to get the job done, eager to do the right things for Hasbro, and not constrained by job description, function, departmental thinking.
  • Builds and maintains a solid network and partners intensively with Hasbro colleagues.
  • Able to influence respectfully manufacturing partners and material suppliers to get the best ex-factory costs for Hasbro.
  • Strong negotiator with desire to Play to Win.
  • Consistent, hands-on, and pragmatic performer, consistently deliver on goals and tackles any performance issue and proactive solve them.
  • Must have analytical mindset and interest in current financial developments.
