Job Title: Senior Manager

About the Role

This is a senior management position responsible for overseeing key financial functions including accounting operations, financial reporting and analysis, compliance and audit, strategic finance and risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end accounting processes including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting and revenue recognition.
  • Ensure day-to-day financial transactions are accurate and timely.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end financial close process.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.

Policies, Processes & Controls:

  • Develop document and enforce accounting policies SOPs and internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain data integrity.
  • Streamline and improve accounting systems processes and controls for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Research and apply technical accounting standards (IND AS IFRS) to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.

Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Deliver detailed financial reports and MIS dashboards for stakeholders and management.
  • Analyse financial data to monitor expenditures assess performance and forecast revenues.
  • Participate in budgeting forecasting and variance analysis aligned with strategic goals.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through financial modelling and scenario planning.

Compliance & Audit:

  • Ensure compliance with local state and central government regulations including direct and indirect taxation.
  • Manage statutory reporting tax filings and regulatory submissions.
  • Coordinate internal statutory and external audits resolve audit findings promptly.

Strategic Finance & Risk Management:

  • Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Formulate and execute financial strategies aligned with long-term company goals.
  • Manage capital structure including private equity ECB loans NCDs and international financing sources.
  • Provide strategic inputs for investment decisions cost optimization and capital allocation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification.
  • Minimum 12-15 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong leadership qualities effective team leader.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting ERP software.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
