Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of Business Continuity Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive disaster recovery plans to ensure seamless business operations.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and maintain enterprise-wide disaster recovery plans and procedures;
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential business disruptions and develop strategies to mitigate them;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT priorities with key business objectives;
  • Design and execute practice drills to test plan execution and identify areas for improvement;
  • Maintain accurate program metrics to track progress and measure success.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of business continuity principles and practices. You will also need excellent communication and project management skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and drive results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business administration, computer science);

Minimum 5-9 years of experience in business continuity or a related field;

Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., CBCP, CIRM) is an asset;

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
