Job Opportunity: Software Development Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity to join our organization as a skilled software development specialist. In this role, you will be part of an agile team that designs, develops, and maintains business applications using Salesforce technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing, developing, and unit testing applications in accordance with established standards;
  • Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code and configurations;
  • Supporting packaging and deployment of releases;
  • Analyzing and resolving technical and application problems;
  • Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget;
  • Providing third-level support to business users;
  • Monitoring the performance of internal systems.

You will also have the opportunity to develop, refine, and tune integrations between applications, as well as attend scrum ceremony meetings and design sessions.

Required skills and qualifications for this role include:

  • A proven knowledge of basic coding languages such as Java, Spring Boot, and React JS;
  • Experience with graph databases such as Neptune and Neo4J;
  • The AWS Practitioner Certification is required;
  • Implementation experience with non-SQL databases such as MongoDB;
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts;
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts;
  • Detail-oriented and goal-oriented individuals who are proficient in Microsoft Office and able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment are preferred;
  • Familiarity with version control concepts and exposure to Salesforce and Cloud technologies are ideal.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a college or university degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, as well as 8 to 11 years of work experience in software or web front-end and back-end service development.
