Senior Android Developer Opportunity

 

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Android Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of overall software development experience, including 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android app development using Android Studio.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of key features and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Help shape the future of our mobile solutions and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, scalable, and secure Android applications

 

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of total software development experience
  • 5+ years of focused experience in:
    • Android app development with Android Studio
    • Working with AWS services
    • Using Docker in development and/or deployment
    • Strong command of Kotlin and/or Java
    • Experience working with RESTful APIs, background services, and push notifications
    • Solid understanding of the Android ecosystem, app lifecycle, and Jetpack libraries
    • Proficiency in Git and Android debugging/profiling
  • Desirable skills:
    • Experience with Jetpack Compose
    • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions
    • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
    • Testing experience (unit, integration, UI)
    • Previous experience deploying apps to Google Play Store
