Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Insights Manager to join our HR Projects team at Novo Nordisk in Bangalore. As an integral part of our dynamic HR department, you will play a key role in driving business value through innovative data-driven solutions.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting and analyzing HR data to identify trends, patterns, and insights. You will provide data-driven recommendations and proposals to improve HR processes, programs, and decision-making. Additionally, you will generate regular reports and dashboards on HR metrics and KPIs for management consumption.

You will also assist the HR Director, GBS in executing the People strategy for GBS and monitor, coordinate, and report progress on key HR strategic initiatives. Furthermore, you will drive annual targets and priority processes for GBS HR, including monthly reporting of performance.

Define and ensure implementation of HR annual wheel/calendar of processes with timely and proactive communication to relevant stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, patterns, insights, organize and categorize HR data for easy retrieval and analysis.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations, prepare proposals and business cases to improve HR processes, programs, and decision-making.
  • Generate regular reports and dashboards on HR metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management consumption.
  • Assist HR Director, GBS in execution of the People strategy for GBS
  • Monitor, coordinate and reporting progress on key HR strategic initiatives
  • Drive annual targets and priority processes for GBS HR, including monthly reporting of performance.

Qualifications and Requirements:
  • MBA (preferably in HR from Tier-1 or Tier-2 colleges) with 4-6 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in using HR information systems, data analysis, MS-Power point and visualization tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management.
  • Initiative and proactive approach in anticipating needs and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in using office software and equipment.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail.

You will join our dynamic HR team located in GBS Bangalore, supporting various lines of business, working towards enabling success with the vision of being a proactive, trusted partner providing business value through innovative solutions. Our department is known for its collaborative atmosphere, where we work together to support the overall mission of Novo Nordisk. With a strong emphasis on providing progressive best-in-class HR solutions to business, you will play a key role in driving our initiatives and making a significant impact on our organisation. The position reports to the Head of HR Projects-GBS and is based in Bangalore.
