Medical Coding Specialist

We are seeking detail-oriented professionals to accurately assign codes for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret complex reports to assign accurate codes for procedures and diagnoses.
  • Apply appropriate CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for vascular and non-vascular procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, payer-specific requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding guidelines, changes, and regulations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing detailed coding rationale and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or CIRCC certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in medical coding.
  • Familiarity with workflow, RIS/PACS systems, and coding tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II codes.
