ValueLabs is seeking a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team in the UAE and Bangalore as we drive digital transformation in the region.

We are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, for this exciting opportunity to work on enterprise-grade projects using cutting-edge cloud-native technologies and DevOps methodologies.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have 8-15 years of expertise in PaaS platforms, ArgoCD, Helm Charts, Groovy, and Python scripting. As a Cloud Native DevOps Leader, you will play a pivotal role in driving automation, ensuring robust infrastructure, and enabling seamless software delivery for our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • CI/CD Pipelines & Deployment Automation: Architect, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD, Jenkins, and GitOps principles for scalable and reliable deployments. Design and manage Helm Charts for Kubernetes-based application deployments, ensuring efficiency and consistency. Lead the adoption of DevOps best practices across the organization.
  • Infrastructure Design & Management: Build and maintain secure and scalable PaaS solutions in production environments. Manage Kubernetes clusters and optimize workloads for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability. Implement and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Scripting, Automation & Customization: Develop advanced automation solutions using Groovy and Python to streamline DevOps processes and reduce manual intervention. Build custom integrations and workflows by leveraging APIs and cloud-native tools.
  • Monitoring, Observability & Reliability: Implement robust monitoring and alerting frameworks using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK Stack to ensure system reliability. Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex issues and establish preventive measures. Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles to improve system performance and reduce downtime.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Act as a technical leader and subject matter expert (SME) for DevOps and cloud-native technologies. Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and learning. Work closely with development, QA, and IT operations teams to drive successful product delivery.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must-Have Technical Skills: Strong experience with ArgoCD, Helm Charts, Kubernetes, and GitOps workflows. Deep understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies. Advanced skills in Groovy and Python. Proficiency in Docker and Kubernetes-based workloads. Extensive experience with PaaS solutions such as OpenShift, Heroku, or Google App Engine. Expertise with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deploying and managing cloud-native applications. Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and centralized logging tools like ELK Stack.
  • Preferred Skills: Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Familiarity with service mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and microservices architecture. Knowledge of DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines. Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
