Supply Chain Manager (SCM) Role Summary:

A Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the analytics and projects that ensure uninterrupted supply of generic formulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop Strategic Supply Plans: Coordinate with manufacturing sites, API Planning, Logistics, procurement, quality, and commercial teams to develop effective supply plans.
  • Optimize Inventory Levels: Minimize costs and ensure service levels across domestic & international markets by optimizing inventory levels.
  • Coordinate Production Execution: Work with manufacturing plants, API team, and procurement teams to ensure timely execution of production plans.
  • Maintain Optimum Inventory Levels: Ensure RM, PM, FG inventory levels are optimized to avoid stock-outs and obsolescence.
  • Risk Management and Mitigation: Monitor capacity constraints, escalate risks, and propose mitigation actions to ensure business continuity.
  • Collaborate with Demand Planning and Commercial Teams: Align supply plans with market requirements to meet customer demands.
  • Bridge Between Functions: Act as a bridge between production, QA/QC, regulatory, procurement, API Planning, Logistics, and commercial teams to facilitate seamless communication.
  • Identify and Address Supply Risks: Proactively identify supply risks, delays, or constraints and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure Master Data Accuracy: Ensure timely updates and accuracy of master data in ERP/SAP systems (BOM, lead times, MOQ, batch sizes etc).
  • Generate Periodic Reports: Generate periodic reports on supply KPIs such as OTIF (On-Time In-Full), inventory turnover, etc.
  • Analyze Supply Chain Performance: Analyze supply chain performance and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
