Seeking a detail-oriented professional to join our team as an accounting expert. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining and managing accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and statements for clients.
  • Reconciling bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial data on a regular basis.
  • Preparing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing reports that meet regulatory requirements.
  • Monitoring accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will have expertise in US tax compliance and reporting, preparing and filing federal, state, and local tax returns in accordance with IRS guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA or EA qualification is preferred but not mandatory; candidates pursuing CPA/EA are welcome.
  • Professional Experience: 0-3 years of experience in US bookkeeping, tax preparation, or financial compliance.
  • Knowledge of US GAAP, IRS regulations, and state-specific tax laws.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, TurboTax, and Lacerte.
  • Ability to prepare financial statements, manage ledgers, and support audits.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills are essential, along with excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
