Telecommunications Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled ICT & Telecommunications specialist to deliver leading-edge technology solutions for multiple clients across diverse sectors.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ICT and Telecommunications design, with a strong understanding of network principles and significant experience working within critical environments.

You will be responsible for developing and publishing telecommunications designs to support projects, including:

  • Structured Cabling Systems (SCS)
  • Communications Rooms and supporting systems
  • Outside Plant Infrastructure (OSP)
  • Active ICT Networks
  • Wireless LAN and Wi-Fi modelling
  • RF Systems

You will also be required to prepare reports, specifications, calculations, and drawings to enable the tendering of works, as well as mentor junior engineers and work within a multi-discipline team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A Master of Engineering or Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
  • Preferably past experience in mentoring
  • Pursuing Chartered Engineer status in a relevant discipline
  • Extensive experience in leading, producing, and checking ICT and Telecommunications designs
  • Underpinning knowledge of Network design principles and significant experience working within critical environments
