Job Opportunity:

We seek a seasoned data engineer to spearhead the design and implementation of scalable data processing solutions utilizing PySpark. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in distributed data processing, with expertise in Reltio MDM and its applications.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining efficient PySpark data pipelines on platforms like AWS EMR or Databricks.
  • Integration and synchronization of data between enterprise applications and Reltio MDM will be a key aspect of this role.
  • Data transformation, cleansing, and enrichment logic will be designed and implemented to ensure high-quality data governance throughout the pipeline lifecycle.
  • Collaboration with architects and analysts is essential for effective data modeling and integration.
  • The chosen candidate will build and manage API-based integrations between Reltio and upstream/downstream systems, optimizing PySpark jobs for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Data quality, integrity, and governance are paramount in this position.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving data-related and performance issues are an integral part of this role.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience in PySpark and distributed data processing.
  • A strong command of Apache Spark, Spark SQL, and DataFrames.
  • Deep expertise in Reltio MDM (entity modeling, survivorship rules, match & merge configuration).
  • Proficiency in REST APIs, JSON, and data integration techniques.
  • Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Step Functions).
  • Solid understanding of ETL workflows, data warehousing, and data modeling.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
