Data Architect Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect Specialist to lead the design and development of our data solutions.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, cloud computing, and big data technologies. They will be responsible for building scalable data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Data Solutions: Lead the design and development of data solutions using PySpark, AWS Glue, and other relevant technologies.
  • Ensure Data Quality: Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to ensure data quality and availability.
  • Build and Maintain ETL Pipelines: Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines using PySpark and AWS Glue.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with analysts, engineers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and SQL.
  • Proficient in Git and AWS services (Glue, S3, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Databricks and its ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling.
  • Exposure to big data technologies like Hadoop and Spark.
  • AWS certifications in data engineering are a plus.
