Senior Python Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to join our team. This role involves building scalable and secure applications, specifically in the travel and tourism industry.

This position demands a leader who can foster innovation while adhering to industry standards for security, scalability, and performance.

  • Architect and develop robust, high-performance applications using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
  • Design and implement seamless integration with third-party APIs, including GDS, CRS, OTA, and airline-specific APIs, to enable real-time data retrieval for booking, pricing, and availability.
  • Develop and optimize complex data pipelines to manage structured and unstructured data, utilizing ETL processes, data lakes, and distributed storage solutions.
  • Build modular applications using microservices principles to ensure scalability, independent deployment, and high availability.
  • Enhance application performance through efficient resource management, load balancing, and faster query handling to deliver an exceptional user experience.
  • Implement secure coding practices, manage data encryption, and ensure compliance with industry standards such as PCI DSS and GDPR.
  • Leverage CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and orchestration tools to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.

We are looking for someone with strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership and perform under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of hands-on experience with Python frameworks like Django, Flask, and FastAPI, as well as proficiency in RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and asynchronous programming.

A strong knowledge of SQL/No SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and big data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka) is also required.

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) is a plus.
