Network Infrastructure Specialist

Responsibilities:- Network Operations: Monitor and maintain network systems to ensure optimal performance and high availability.
- Issue Resolution: Respond promptly to network-related incidents, providing effective solutions to minimize downtime and service disruption.
- Configuration Management: Configure and manage network devices including routers, switches, load balancers, and firewalls.
- Security Compliance: Implement and maintain network security policies to safeguard against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, changes, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to support overall infrastructure and ensure seamless operations.
- Upgrades & Updates: Plan and execute network upgrades, firmware updates, and patches to ensure systems are secure, stable, and up to date.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify issues and generate performance reports.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study.
- Required Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
- Cloud Networking: Experience with cloud networking solutions and SDN technologies.
- Firewall Management: Hands-on experience with firewall management.
- Load Balancing: Proficiency in managing load balancers for high availability and traffic distribution.
- Routing & Switching: Strong understanding of routing and switching technologies.
- Protocols & Standards: Solid grasp of networking protocols.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CCNA or equivalent are preferred
