Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Systems Administrator with expertise in Azure and Office365 to support, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure.

This role will manage Azure resources, Office 365 services, and related tools to ensure high availability, security, and performance across the organization. The ideal candidate will work closely with IT teams to support cloud-based services and drive continuous improvement in cloud operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cloud Resource Management: Deploy, configure, and manage virtual machines, storage, networking, and other Azure services.
  • Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Identity Management: Implement and maintain AAD and related identity management solutions.
  • Cloud Cost Optimization: Monitor and optimize Azure resource utilization and costs.
Office 365 Administration:
  • Office 365 Application Management: Manage and support Office 365 applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive.
  • User Account Administration: Administer user accounts, licenses, and permissions within Office 365, ensuring compliance and security.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot issues and provide support for Office 365 services across the organization.
Security and Compliance:
  • Implement Security Best Practices: Implement security best practices, including multi-factor authentication (MFA), data loss prevention (DLP), and access controls.
  • Monitoring and Vulnerability Management: Monitor for potential security threats and take action to resolve vulnerabilities.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements: Ensure compliance with regulatory and company security policies.
Automation and Process Improvement:
  • Automation of Administrative Tasks: Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell) for automated cloud and Office 365 administration tasks.
  • Process Enhancement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement automation to increase efficiency.
Backup, Recovery, and Disaster Recovery:
  • Backup and Recovery Strategy: Implement and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for critical cloud services.
  • Regular Testing and Updates: Regularly test and update recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
Documentation and Training:
  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for cloud infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and training to other IT staff on cloud administration best practices.
