Data Engineer - Cloud Services

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop and deploy big data pipelines in a cloud environment using Azure Cloud services.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a leading organization as well as a growing Data and Analytics team.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing & deploying big data pipelines in a cloud environment using Azure Cloud services
  • ETL design, development and migration of existing on-prem ETL routines to Cloud Service
  • Interacting with senior leaders, understanding their business goals, contributing to the delivery of the workstreams
  • Designing and optimizing model codes for faster execution

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in computer science or equivalent
  • Experience in IT, with 1-3 years of industry experience
  • Working knowledge of Agile base delivery methodology (preferable)
  • Flexible and proactive working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal formal and informal)

The ideal candidate will also possess:

  • Client management skills
