We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Python and its ecosystem, as well as experience with FastAPI, RESTful APIs, and database management. They should also be proficient in unit testing and have good knowledge of Git and cloud platforms like AWS.

The key responsibilities of this role include designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance backend services using Python and FastAPI. This includes building RESTful APIs and microservices to support web and mobile applications, working closely with frontend developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to integrate solutions, and optimizing code for performance, scalability, and reliability.

Maintaining version control using Git and collaborating in an Agile team environment are also essential skills for this position. The ideal candidate should be able to manage deployments and work with CI/CD pipelines effectively.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in Python (3.x) development
  • Good hands-on experience in FastAPI framework
  • RESTful API development expertise
  • Proficient in PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Experience in Unit Testing (pytest / unittest)
  • Good knowledge of Git
  • Cloud exposure (AWS preferred)
  • Familiar with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
