We are seeking a seasoned data strategist to join our tech team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing data-driven solutions and will be responsible for defining and implementing strategies and technology that provide optimized data storage, high availability of data, along with failover mechanisms avoiding data loss or disconnection.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and implementing data storage and retrieval systems using modern technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of excellence through code reviews, pair programming, and training.
  • Participating in Agile development cycles and SCRUM meetings.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, advocating for innovation and driving technical excellence within the team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • At least 7 years of experience in developing data-driven solutions.

Key Skills:

  • Programming languages: Python, JavaScript, .NET language (C#, VB.Net, etc.), JAVA is a plus.
  • Databases: SQL, PostgreSQL, TimescaleDB (Time series database), NoSQL (like MongoDB), Graph databases (like GraphDB).
  • Reporting: Power BI, Grafana.
  • Knowledge of REST, SOAP APIs.
  • Knowledge of Bigdata platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Message Queueing platforms is a plus.
  • Knowledge of GitHub and Jira is a plus.
  • DevOps experience is a plus.
  • Cloud IoT platforms like Microsoft Azure or Thingsboard are a plus.
