Job Title: Data Architectural Specialist

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced data architectural specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing large-scale data processing systems, as well as a strong understanding of cloud-based technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data pipelines using Python, GCP Cloud Run, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data engineering solutions into larger product development efforts.
  • Develop and maintain complex data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Work closely with analysts and scientists to ensure data quality and meet business requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for future improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years of SQL development experience, preferably in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • 5+ years of analytics/data product development experience required.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Google Cloud services like Big Query, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, Dataproc, etc.
  • Experience with Airflow for scheduling and orchestration of data pipelines and Terraform for provisioning Infrastructure as Code.
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming language and its application in data engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
