We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable backend applications using Python, with hands-on expertise in both Django and FastAPI.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust and efficient backend systems, including REST APIs and application modules.
  • Develop and maintain database schemas, queries, and transactions (PostgreSQL/MySQL) for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Implement authentication, authorization, RBAC, and security best practices to ensure data protection and integrity.
  • Work with async programming for performance-critical services and manage background jobs and distributed task queues (Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature delivery, ensuring clean, reusable, testable code with proper unit/integration tests.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Core Python (OOP, data structures, design patterns).
  • Must-have: Hands-on experience with Django (ORM, middleware, application architecture).
  • Must-have: Proven experience with FastAPI for building async APIs.
  • Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and WebSockets.
  • Proficiency in SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL (Redis/MongoDB).
  • Experience with async IO, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong understanding of API security, session management, and data protection.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs, payment gateways, or external services.
