Job Title: Senior Network Engineer II - DDI

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert in designing and implementing next-gen DNS, DHCP and IPAM solutions.

This role will work closely with a matrix team of expert network architects and engineers to drive adoption of NRE practices and operating models across all network product towers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain goals by submitting reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines are met.
  • Promote accurate documentation of project progress.
  • Provide input and assistance to other teams regarding projects.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree in an engineering or computer science discipline and/or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years' experience in developing network solutions utilizing DDI expertise in mission critical networks.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting DDI appliance technologies from industry leading vendors.
  • Experience in configuring SaaS based DDI solutions from AWS, Azure and other cloud providers.
  • Experience in implementing DNS security policies and DNS resolution policies.
  • Experience in configuring and troubleshooting DNS zones, perform zone transfers.
  • Experience in managing and configuring DHCP scopes and options across multiple environments.
  • Experience in auditing, designing and implementing efficient IP address management techniques including subnetting and supernetting.
  • Experience in Integrating DDI solutions with other network management and monitoring tools.
  • Experience in designing and develop scripts for automating DNS, DHCP, and IPAM tasks.
  • Hands on experience in resolving complex networking issues related to DDI protocols.
  • Experience in designing and implementing NTP solutions for data centers and Cloud service providers.
  • Experience in developing, documenting, and managing the requirements gathering process and provide detailed design and implementation plan to support the requirements throughout the project life cycle.
  • Field experience and knowledge of foundational data networking and IP technologies including (DNS, DHCP, NTP, ARP, TCP/IP, UDP, NAT and others).
  • Experience with one or more Cloud Computing platforms (e.g. Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine).
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering written documents detailing network solutions and diagrams.
  • Experience in Agile methodologies, daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions and user story preparations.
  • Upgrading Infoblox Hardware and Virtual Infrastructure.
