Job Title: Marketplace Business Manager
Role Overview:The primary goal of the Marketplace Business Manager is to drive strategic growth and management of a specific marketplace within the overall business. This role entails P&L management requiring a blend of skills including strategic planning, supply chain management, demand generation, and market and customer preference understanding.
This involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance supply and demand within a particular marketplace and increase market share. The ideal candidate must have a strong grasp of local supply and demand trends and competitor activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement plans to boost supply and demand within a specific marketplace and increase market share.
- Understand local supply and demand trends and competitor actions.
- Identify revenue and cost-saving opportunities for maximising profits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams like Supply Chain, Finance, and Credit departments to optimise costs and enhance revenue.
- Establish and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality of produce and experience to customers.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage technology and innovation to streamline operations and enhance service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
