Job Title: Python AI/ML Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and ambitious Python AI/ML Engineer to join our team. As a member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing robust backend software solutions primarily using Python, with a strong focus on AI/ML applications.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to translate cutting-edge research into impactful, deployable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement robust backend software solutions primarily using Python, with a strong focus on AI/ML applications.
  • Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs using FastAPI or equivalent frameworks, often serving AI-powered features.
  • Build responsive and intuitive frontend user interfaces using React to visualize and interact with complex AI models and data.
  • Utilize the Azure cloud platform (or similar) for application development and deployment, demonstrating a willingness to explore and master new cloud and AI/ML specific cloud services.
  • Architect and implement Generative AI solutions, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, to enhance model capabilities and provide context-aware responses.
  • Work with and integrate various Large Language Models (LLMs), exploring fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimal model selection.
  • Develop and orchestrate Agentic AI workflows using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration tools.
Qualifications
  • Intellectual curiosity and a strong drive for continuous learning and self-improvement, particularly in the AI/ML domain.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proven ability to tackle complex challenges independently, especially in areas like AI model integration and optimization.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming, with experience in developing AI/ML applications.
  • Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform (or similar) services, ideally including AI/ML services.
  • In-depth knowledge of API development, preferably with FastAPI.
  • Demonstrated experience or strong theoretical understanding of Generative AI concepts, LLMs, and their applications.
  • Familiarity with or direct experience in building RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems.
  • Experience with or keen interest in Agentic AI and frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar AI orchestration tools.
