About the Role
- Develop and execute a robust global category strategy for APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement goals with business objectives
- Continuously monitor market trends, supplier performance, and technological advancements in the API industry
- Engage and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and conditions
Key Responsibilities
- Global Category Management: Develop and execute a robust global category strategy for APIs
- Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to API supply, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes
- Negotiation Skills: Exhibit strong negotiation skills while dealing with suppliers and contract terms
- Contract Management: Draft, negotiate, and manage contracts with API suppliers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering, Science, Pharmaceutical, Chemistry, Business
- 5 years of Procurement, Supply Chain experience
- Experience in MS Office applications - MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Fluent English
- Chemicals Knowledge - APIs, OTC, Procurement Knowledge - Strategic Sourcing, Supplier, Industry knowledge
