Smart Buildings Engineer

Are you an expert in building automation and smart infrastructure solutions? We are looking for a talented Smart Buildings Engineer to join our team.

  • This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of smart buildings, working on Building Automation System (BAS) projects from India. You will be responsible for preparing technical assessments, cost estimations, and competitive bids across various industries like commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, and pharmaceuticals.
  • You will lead pre-sales engineering for BMS projects, following country-specific standards. Your tasks will include reviewing project inputs, MEP drawings, specifications, and SOPs; identifying HVAC equipment, dampers, and sensors.
  • You will design BAS network architecture and select hardware, software, sensors, controllers, dampers, and airflow devices. You will also participate in project kick-off and review meetings; maintain compliance, deviation, and risk logs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Communication.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems: Chilled Water, Cooling Towers, AHUs, FCUs, VAV, Hot Water systems.
  • Expertise in BMS architecture: Operator Workstations, Supervisory Controllers, DDC controllers, Sensors & Actuators.
  • Familiarity with network protocols: BACNet, LON, Modbus, OPC, etc.
  • Proficient in wiring, field devices, safety interlocks, and panels.
  • Experience in engineering, installation, and commissioning of HVAC & BMS systems.
  • Knowledge of Automation systems (PLC programming/SCADA).
  • Quick learner, problem-solving mindset, strong communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred:

Relevant experience in Building Automation Industry, BMS Design, or Automation Engineering.
