About This Role

This position is an exciting opportunity to drive quality across our software products as a Quality Assurance Engineer.

  • Design and develop comprehensive test strategies, frameworks, and plans to ensure seamless integration into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to identify, track, and resolve issues while maintaining compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities

Some of the key responsibilities for this role include:

  1. Developing and implementing test plans, cases, and automation frameworks to enhance software quality.
  2. Maintaining automated test scripts for functional, performance, and security testing.
  3. Conducting regression, exploratory, and usability testing to identify defects and areas for improvement.
  4. Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) to streamline the testing process.
  5. Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects using tools like Jira or Bugzilla, collaborating with developers for resolution.
  6. Creating and maintaining documentation of test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  7. Ensuring compliance with security and industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
  8. Providing test reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  9. Mentoring junior QA engineers and contributing to best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Strong experience with Selenium, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools and performance testing frameworks (JMeter, LoadRunner).
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile environment.
