Design Visionary

We are seeking a creative leader to spearhead our visual identity and build a high-performing design team.

The Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for defining and evolving the visual language for all properties, including web, print, social, events, video, and emerging formats. You will also lead design efforts everywhere, harnessing innovative tools to integrate AI-driven workflows into concepting, style-frames, motion pre-viz, and rapid prototyping.

You will elevate video and motion by partnering with our video team to craft cinematic title cards, lower thirds, and data-driven infographics, guiding AI-assisted video editing and VFX workflows. Additionally, you will systemize excellence by creating scalable design systems, asset libraries, and AI prompts that speed up quality without compromising it.

As a mentor and multiplier, you will coach graphic designers, motion artists, and freelancers, instilling a culture of critique and craft. You will collaborate at altitude with Editorial, Marketing, Events, and Product to ensure every touchpoint feels unmistakably on-brand. Your goal will be to set the benchmark for gold-standard visuals, strategy, and execution.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams in media, digital publishing, or agency environments.
  • Core Tools: Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), Figma; bonus points for Blender/C4D, Unreal, or 3-D prototyping apps.
  • AI Fluency: Proven use of generative AI image/video tools for ideation or production; ability to write, refine, and share effective prompt libraries.
  • Visual Mastery: Expert eye for typography, color, layout, motion, data-viz & brand systems.
  • Storytelling & Strategy: Ability to see narrative threads behind every pixel and sell concepts in the boardroom.
