About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Data Analysis Specialist to join our team at Lloyd's Register. In this role, you will work closely with our technical performance team to verify LR deliverables, ensuring that our clients receive accurate information to support their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review simple deliverables issued by LR Surveyors and check for accuracy against ship data, rules, codes, standards, and LR procedures.
  • Update and compile statistics of deliverable accuracy and errors.
  • Initiate requests for update of deliverables where appropriate.
  • Initiate requests for update of LR data where errors are identified.
  • Process data changes requested by other teams.
  • Stay up to date with the latest data analysis tools, techniques, and best practices.
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards.
  • Undertake administration as required in line with current processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • A degree or equivalent from a tertiary organization recognized by LR within a relevant field, such as Data Science and Statistics.
  • Knowledge and understanding of ship design and operational principles, including classification and statutory surveys.
  • Proven experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or corporate environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large datasets and complex data structures.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing accurate and reliable analysis.
  • Proficiency in the English language commensurate with the work.
