Credit Controller in French Language Expert Role - Job Description


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Credit Controller specializing in French-speaking customers. In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of prospective and existing customers, advising on payment terms, and resolving any credit issues that may arise.


Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough investigations into customer credit applications to determine their creditworthiness.
  • Liaise with corporate customers and other departments to resolve any credit-related issues.
  • Negotiate payment terms with customers who have overdue accounts.
  • Perform routine assignments as part of an entry-level professional role.
  • Build strong relationships with clients through regular communication via calls and emails.
  • Minimize financial risk by accurately assessing and advising on customer creditworthiness.

Requirements:
  • Fluency in both written and spoken French and English.
  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in translation work.
  • Strong understanding of French culture and linguistic nuances.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
