Medical Billing Operations Director

We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Operations Director to oversee the management of medical billing operations and lead high-performing teams within our Revenue Cycle Management practice.

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely medical billing, driving operational efficiency through process improvement and adherence to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), managing and mentoring large teams to ensure high employee engagement and low attrition, collaborating with directors to execute business strategy and meet client expectations, analyzing metrics to provide actionable insights to improve financial and operational outcomes, ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining quality standards, and acting as a key point of contact for client communication and escalations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 12 years of experience in Medical Billing / Revenue Cycle Management with 3-5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role.
  • Strong domain knowledge across billing processes, accounts receivable follow-up, denial management, and payer policies.
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and multiple clients.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to automation tools and process transformation is an advantage.
