Job Title: Technical Application Specialist

Job Summary:

  • This role involves providing technical support for the underlying application, releases, and infrastructure.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support and configuration across multiple systems and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features.
  • Document technical requirements and processes to capture configuration details.
  • Support and test technical systems/servers and work with third-party software providers to resolve defects.
  • Apply industry expertise to ensure solutions incorporate best practices.
  • Work with neighboring technology and project teams to ensure changes are rolled out in a coordinated manner that is non-disruptive to the business.
  • Provide post-live support and assist with remediation where necessary.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience with vendor applications, including Smartstream Cash Management (CMS) and Control Process Designer.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Change Requests, CAB meetings, and weekend rollout of code changes.
  • Control M' application knowledge, jobs creation, administration, alerting, file move, and file watchers.
  • Oracle 19 SQL scripting and Oracle database concepts.
  • Linux shell scripting and support.
  • Ability to package up and manage configuration/code changes into releases, and apply to production.
  • Jboss 8 server knowledge, configuration, and support, error log analysis, and WAR file deployment.
  • JMS Queue processing and principles.
  • GitHub software management and Automated deployment via CI/CD pipeline.
