Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Strategist to join our team at ATLAS Transformers India Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to support the organization's goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement efficient sourcing solutions.
  • Manage supplier relationships and conduct negotiations to secure advantageous terms.
  • Oversee the purchasing process and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock control processes.
  • Analyze market trends and maintain awareness of industry developments to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Assess and mitigate procurement risks while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Lead procurement team and provide guidance on best practices and process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain supplier performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align purchasing activities with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement with a focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and secure advantageous terms with suppliers.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective vendor and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proven track record of implementing cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to plan and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools for efficient purchasing processes.
  • Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in procurement.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to mitigate procurement risks and challenges.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and motivate a procurement team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing procurement activities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to evolving business needs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications in procurement, such as CPM or CPSM.
  • Experience in the power transformer industry.
