About the Role

In this opportunity, you will lead a team of technical consultants and engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services related to cloud technologies and tax applications.

  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance to a team of consultants and engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and services related to cloud technologies and tax applications.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business objectives, technical requirements, and challenges.
  • Cloud Expertise: Demonstrate deep knowledge and hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Tax Applications Knowledge: Possess an understanding of indirect tax applications used in business environments, including but not limited to tax compliance software, ERP systems, and reporting tools.
  • Kubernetes Proficiency: Strong understanding of container orchestration platforms, with a particular focus on Kubernetes.
  • Project Management: Lead technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

About You:

You're a fit for the role if you have:

  • 10+ years' experience, a large part of which has been spent leading and managing a team of technical consultants and/or technical developers.
  • Experience as a technical lead over technology projects for third parties or commercial software projects.
  • Experience with data analytics and a strong command of SQL and Python.
  • Experience with Java and large enterprise J2EE financial or complex enterprise J2EE solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud solutions and current cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
  • Understanding of development process for Java based enterprise solutions including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong management experience leading a team that collaborates with global demands across multiple time zones.
