Program Overview

We are launching an innovative and engaging AI Tools & Applications course tailored for high school students (Grades 9-12). This program introduces learners to the power of AI through hands-on experiences with tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Suno.ai, and Google Teachable Machine. No coding experience required.

About the Course

This course is designed to teach high school students how to use AI tools in a practical and creative way. Students will learn how to generate summaries, flashcards, and learning aids using AI, as well as develop simple websites/apps using no-code platforms. The goal of the course is to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in an AI-driven world.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instructor-led sessions (3 hours each) combining teaching, interaction, and doubt resolution.
  • Teach use cases of tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, Teachable Machine, and Suno.ai.
  • Simplify core AI concepts (e.g., Machine Learning, NLP, Classification) using analogies and visual aids.
  • Guide students in using AI tools for tasks like text summarization and doubt clarification, flashcard and storyboard creation, AI-powered music and visual content generation, and no-code web/app creation.
  • Encourage responsible AI use, touching upon ethics, bias, and misinformation.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student capstone projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, Design, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Prior teaching, mentoring, or facilitation experience, preferably with teens or in an edtech setup.
  • Hands-on expertise with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, etc.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
  • Passion for educating and inspiring young minds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching students in Grades 9-12.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Google Teachable Machine, Scratch, Glide, Replit, or Thunkable.
  • Understanding of basic AI/ML concepts (e.g., classification, NLP, recommendation engines).
  • Awareness of AI ethics and ability to engage students in conversations on responsible usage.
