Job Description
As a Senior Application Security Analyst at StrongBox IT - Cybersecurity Consulting, you will be responsible for working with our development teams to ensure the security of our web and mobile applications. This includes identifying vulnerabilities and implementing fixes to prevent attacks such as SQL injections, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
You will also be responsible for conducting security assessments and testing our applications to identify potential weaknesses. Your expertise in static application security testing (SAST) and dynamic application security testing (DAST) will be crucial in helping us improve the security of our applications.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of web and mobile application security principles and practices. You should have experience with commercial and open-source tools such as Burpsuite, AppScan, WebInspect, and OWASP ZAP. Additionally, you should have knowledge of attack vectors from OWASP, SANS, and NIST, as well as mitigation techniques.
