**Amazon Transportation Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our Transportation Engineering Systems Team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing innovative solutions that enhance customer experience in our North American Transportation Network.
Our transportation network encompasses all operations involved in delivering shipments from our fulfillment centers and third-party locations to customers worldwide. You will work closely with business stakeholders to define requirements and implement process/system-based solutions for the Amazon Fulfillment/Transportation Network.
This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to negotiate with various stakeholders. If you have experience in program or project management, knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology, and expertise in MS Access and SQL, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and integrate innovative solutions to improve customer experience
- Owning business stakeholder engagement and focus on delivering new or streamlining existing processes
- Shape mid-to-long-term planning and prioritization for supported business groups
- Cross-functional collaboration with various stakeholders to define requirements and implement process/system-based solutions
- Creating documentation to support defect reduction, improvements in productivity, and risk mitigation
- Providing strategic direction and subject matter expertise in determining investment prioritization
