Hybrid QA Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hybrid QA Engineer to join our team at State Street. As a Hybrid QA Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, analyzing, and documenting project requirements, working closely with stakeholders to identify best practices, and foreseeing risks involved.

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining, analyzing, and documenting project requirements
  • Working closely with stakeholders to identify best practices
  • Foreseeing risks involved and proactively communicating and presenting the case in scrums and open forums
  • Writing, reviewing, and implementing test cases for automation
  • Performing integration, functional, regression, and E2E testing
  • Participating in automation design and review and outstanding issue resolve
  • Providing crisp and clear analysis of issues found during testing with all the RCA to help fix the issues quickly

Core/Must have skills

  • Primarily adaptable and agile to any SDLC conditions and zeal to contribute in any given task
  • Strong and proactive communication and quick learning ability with little or zero handholding
  • Demonstrable and current hands-on experience using databases (Oracle, SQL) smartly to achieve the QA validations in quick time
  • Decent knowledge in UNIX finding RCA of issues through logs and events correlation
  • Strong problem-solving skills and trouble-shooting skills

Good to have skills

Preferably within BFSI domain with FX knowledge

FIX (Financial Information Xchange) protocol

API testing
