Job Opportunity: Production Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Associate to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare detailed test plans for cells and battery packs, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision.
  • Conduct thorough life cycle, capacity, temperature mapping, penetration, short circuit, HRD, breakdown, cell balancing, BMS parameter verification, self-discharge, and data sheet tests.
  • Analyze test results and prepare samples for third-party certification, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Coordinate with various types of cell suppliers and national/international standards applicable for cells and battery packs, fostering strong relationships and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with third-party test labs for testing and BIS certification procedures, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of call and battery test equipment and suppliers, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of IEC 62133, IS 16046, UL1642, AIS048, and AIS135 standards, ensuring expertise in all relevant areas.
  • Familiarity with test laboratory setup for cells, battery modules, and battery packs, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
  • Experience with test equipment such as cell formation units, automatic battery pack testers, resistance banks, power supplies, CAN-data loggers, impedance testers, chargers, thermal imagers, high pot testers, and environmental test chambers, utilizing these tools to drive innovation and excellence.
  • Ability to construct cells, analyze thermal characteristics, and degrade cells, applying scientific principles and methodologies to achieve optimal results.
  • Understanding of endurance testing for EV Li-ion batteries, components, and conventional components, recognizing the importance of reliability and durability in all aspects of production.
Skills:
  • Cylindrical, prismatic, and pouch cells, with a focus on versatility and adaptability.
  • Component-level benchmarking and data generation, leveraging cutting-edge techniques and tools to drive business success.
  • Operating voltage windows, voltage cut-offs, passive balancing technologies, SOC determination algorithms, charging profiles, and CC-CV, optimizing performance and efficiency across all systems.
  • Battery pack architecture and internal components, designing and implementing innovative solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
  • Cooling technologies, exploring new approaches and materials to enhance overall system performance and sustainability.
