Impactful Role: As a Director of Software Engineering and Innovation at Capillary Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our technological landscape. You will lead a talented team of engineers and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive innovation, ensure technical excellence, and deliver world-class products.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, setting clear goals and expectations for the team.
Team Management
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and scale the engineering organisation to meet the demands of a rapidly growing company.
Product Delivery
  • Oversee the end-to-end product development lifecycle, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of software solutions.
  • Drive a customer-centric approach, ensuring products meet and exceed user expectations.
Risk Management and Technical Excellence
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to engineering projects, ensuring that potential challenges are addressed proactively.
  • Uphold and enhance engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality assurance processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Collaborate with product management, design, and other key stakeholders to align engineering efforts with business objectives.
  • Foster strong communication channels to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a senior engineering leader with a track record of successfully managing and scaling engineering teams.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in software development methodologies, architecture, and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving strategic initiatives and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on experience.
